He Said
Painting Gives Him
a Wonderful Sense of Relief and Calm.
He said it had been a real sadness for him to think that all his life he had no personal artistic talent, especially
that his (now deceased) sister was always able to produce good craft work.
Then about two years ago he decided to take two courses in painting at the local community college and a little later, another two
courses at the local art institute. To his surprise he found out that he could
draw, but to his great regret he believed his handling of paint, brushes and surfaces was
beyond him.
Naturally enough he became quite discouraged and thinking of quitting, he began
praying, which was his usual technique for solving problems. Not long after, the man said he,
"randomly ran across your painting course," From viewing the small videos of the course it seemed
this was just what he was looking for so he immediately ordered it.
His first wonderful surprise was when it came in the post so quickly. Next, he said he was so anxious,
"to see if it is what I have been waiting for." It was, and more!
How deeply surprised and greatful he was to discover that Gayle, the instructor of the
painting course, "spoke from the heart" which he saw as a definate and direct
answer to his prayer. Not only that, but since he began the course, he continues to experience a
wonderful sense of relief and calm.
He was especially delighted with the painting course because the first few lessons immediately filled in the very careful,
basic teaching of paint consistency and brush handling that he
absolutely needed to be able to progress.
He views Gayle as a friend who comes in each day to help
him with his work and, he enjoys her emails very much. In one of her recent emails she finished
it with, "keep the joy." He says, "I can tell you that I will not only
keep it but that it will continue to grow."
So how about you? Just like the gentleman you have read about, other people are trapped
by the same "impossible for me" thinking. They would love to paint, but they believe
themselves to have not one artistic bone in their body.
The reality is, they fail to realize they are missing the technique that gets them to the
point where they can use their own artistic expression. Avoid allowing that happening to you.
Gayle will be with you every step of the way too. Grant her the opporunity to help you realize
your artistic dreams.
